Landscape Photography (Presented by Alex Everett and Sony Alpha)

1:30 pm - 2:15 pm
After years of exploring Washington's alpine wilderness and most recently completing his move to Colorado, Sony Tech Rep Alex Everett never leaves on a hike or camping trip without his camera and a small array of lenses. In this 45-minute crash course, he'll give you a rundown on his approach - what he looks for, his favorite focal lengths, as well as tips and tricks you might not otherwise consider when heading out to photograph landscapes.
Easy Outdoor Studio Lighting (Presented by Mike's Camera Educator Joe Klocek)

3:00 pm - 3:45 pm
When we shoot portraits outside we mix the light on the subject into an exposure with the light on the background. That might sound complex, but it’s actually an easy concept. It can be achieved with reflectors or with simple flash techniques. In this demonstration we will explore how.
Modifying Masks in Photoshop (Presented by Mike's Camera Educator Joe Klocek)

4:00 pm - 4:45 pm
In Photoshop we create selections and masks so we can target our edits. While that may sound complex, it’s actually pretty easy, once you understand some essential techniques. In this free lecture we will create and modify complex selections and masks in a live demonstration format.
