Hassle Free Returns In-Store Purchases

We want to be your trusted source for photographic gear by delivering the best advice, service and convenience, all at competitive prices. If you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, let us help you with a replacement, return or repair as applicable.

Returns for Store Purchases

We offer a 7-day refund and/or exchange for most merchandise. All items considered for refund or exchange must be returned in "as new" condition, free of visible marks, scratches or defects, and complete with all components and packaging materials. After 7 days, all merchandise is considered used and may be considered for trade-in purposes only. All returns are subject to inspection and return approval by a Mike's Camera management crew member.

The following conditions must be met for products to qualify for refunds or exchanges

  • The item must be accompanied by the original receipt (not a copy).
  • The total will be refunded by your original method of payment or a Mike's Camera Gift Card.
  • If refunded by credit card or debit, the original cardholder must be present.
  • Cash purchases totaling more than $50.00 will be refunded by check, and may take up to 10 business days to process.

Sensitized and Perishable Products

Mike's Camera does not accept for refund or exchange the following products

  • Software when seal is broken
  • Open computers and related peripherals
  • Open memory cards
  • Non-stocked special order items
  • Film, due to its perishable nature
  • Photographic paper, due to its perishable nature
  • Batteries
  • Chemistry
  • Light Bulbs
  • Ink cartridges and opened printers
  • UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles) Drones or flying cameras, except in cases of product being DOA. Only unopened drones or drones that qualify as DOA can be returned for exchange or refund within 7 days of purchase. DOA (Dead on Arrival) is defined as a brand new unit that will not turn on or does not function pre-flight

limit of liability

Submitting any tangible or electronic media, images, data, file, card, disc, device, film, slides, or negatives to Mike's Camera for any purpose such as processing, printing, duplication, alterations, enlargement, storage, transmission, or other handling, constitutes an AGREEMENT that any loss or damage to it by our company, subsidiary or agents, even though by our negligence or fault, will only entitle you to replacement with an equivalent quantity/size of unexposed photographic film or electronic media. Except for such replacement, our acceptance of the media, image, data, file, card, disc, device, film, slides or negatives is without other liability, and recovery for any incidental or consequential damage is excluded. No expressed or implied warranty is provided.

Restocking Fees

If Mike's Camera determines that an item is returnable but does not meet all Mike's Camera guidelines for “As New Product”, such as missing all the original packaging or accessories, that's okay too. We can process a return with a nonrefundable deduction on your refund for what is missing in the form of a restocking fee. The fee charged may vary according to the item's condition, the state of the item's packaging and the item value. Mike's Camera reserves the right to refuse the refund of any product that does not meet these criteria.

Gift Cards

Mike's Camera gift cards cannot be redeemed for cash.

Returns for Online Purchases

Returns for Purchases Paid Online and Shipped to Customer

Returns for online purchases must be requested within 7 days of receiving of your purchase. Please contact Mike's Camera by email at coonlinesales@mikescamera.com by phone 303-443-1707 x127 prior to shipping goods to obtain a Return Authorization.

Your shipment will be checked upon receipt. Any missing or damaged merchandise, parts or packaging will be reported to you within 10 days of Mike's Camera receipt and an appropriate restocking charge applied. Shipping, duty, brokerage and insurance charges are non-refundable; however, we will refund your original shipping cost if the return is a result of our error.

Only purchases made at mikescamera.com can be shipped to Mike's Camera by mail for return with prior authorization. The purchaser is responsible for any return shipping costs.

All other items eligible for return can be brought directly to any Mike's Camera retail location.

Returns for Pay Online Return in Store

Returns for Purchases Paid Online and shipped may be exchanged or returned in store.Refunds will be credited to the original form of payment or Mike’s Camera Gift Card.

Extended Holiday Exchange and Return Period

We want you to shop with confidence and allow plenty of time to shop for Holiday gifts. To allow you peace of mind in choosing the right gifts, products purchased from Black Friday through Christmas Eve have an extended return and exchange period until January 10 of the following year.

Return of Shipping Fees

If you return an item using a prepaid method after receiving a Return Authorization and the reason for return is not a result of a Mike’s Camera error, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. If the return is the result of a Mike’s Camera error, we'll refund return shipping costs as well.

unclaimed orders

Mike's Camera will not hold orders for pickup for any longer than 120 days, including orders with original prints or film. We will attempt to contact you however if no attempt to pick up is made we will dispose of unclaimed photofinishing. Unclaimed photofinishing is not eligible for refund and does not imply or express any liability on the part of Mike's Camera.
