A Hands-on Journey into Studio Lighting with Godox Lights!

The studio is a place of endless creativity. But to engage with lighting, you need to develop comfort with how we place lights and create effects. We call this subject “Light Placement” and the better you understand it, the more creative you become. In this immersive, demonstration based class we will explore light placement and lighting patterns. We will start with a single light so we understand how height, distance, angle, and modifier change the quality of light on a subject. Then we will add lighting positions to the mix. We will explore back lights, hair lights, rim lights, fill lights and more. Along the way we will learn classic lighting patterns so we can create beautiful effects effortlessly. This class will get new photographers into lighting and demystify its intricacies, it will also add depth to an experienced photographer's repertoire when creating magic in the studio.
