Software and Editing Classes
Course Overview
Sometimes the hardest part of learning a new skill is just getting started. To become comfortable with Photoshop you need to know the basics: how to open or create a document, how to save a document, and how to apply basic edits. In this class we will start with the very basics in Photoshop, using real world examples in a follow-along format.
What you’ll learn
- Opening an image through Adobe Camera RAW or Lightroom Classic
- Creating a new document and choosing its pixel dimensions
- Saving a Photoshop document or exporting a variant
- Applying adjustment layers to an image
- Applying adjustments only to the brighter or darker portions of a given image.
This class uses example images, which will be provided at the beginning of class. You will be able to watch a demonstration of a given principle and then practice the skill yourself as part of the class. You will want the most recent version of Adobe Photoshop to take maximum advantage of this class. Also note that this class uses Photoshop, not Photoshop Elements.
Tuition: $59.00
