This is not your typical classroom setting. In this relaxed, supportive environment, you’ll work on your own photos with guidance from an experienced Lightroom tutor at your fingertips.

Technical Level: 

While this course is an open editing session, this should not be your first time using Lightroom. It would be helpful for you to be familiar with many of the basics of file management and a few adjustments. Your images and the skills you need to achieve your desired results are the structure of class. So this is a great experience for photographers of all skill levels.

Class size:

Because this is hands-on and in person class, we limit the class to 8 participants.

What to Bring
  • Make sure to bring your laptop with a power cable.
  • Have Lightroom Classic installed on the computer and check that you have updated it to the most recent version before class.
  • Your instructor may want to demonstrate a technique using your image before the class. If you need an adapter for a USB drive to work on your machine, please bring it.
  • Bring 3-5 images for you to work on.

About your Instructor: Joe Klocek has worked in the photographic industry as a photographer, salesman, and instructor since 2005. Today he teaches courses on a variety of topics, including macro, wildlife, exposure theory, videography, and studio lighting. In the past few years he has been a guest speaker for photographic societies and travel expositions. He lives in Denver with his wife, son, and unmanageable book collection.
