Join us for a deep dive into advanced techniques, tips, and tricks for enhancing your landscape photography. Photoshop is a software about interactions. How does double masking interact with color grading? How do blend modes interact with adjustment layers? These are more intricate questions but they provide the most exciting edits. In this class we will explore intermediate and advanced Photoshop techniques so you can create incredible landscape imagery. Whether you're working with raw mountain vistas or subtle seaside scenes, this course will teach you how to bring out the best in your landscape photography.
What You'll Learn
- Correct exposure, contrast, and color balance
- Learn four different methods of color grading
- Replace skies and match the color in the foreground for dramatic results
- Create luminosity masks for nuanced adjustment layers
- Blend multiple exposures for high dynamic range (HDR) images
During class you will follow along with the instructor using demonstration images, so you learn to produce the same results. By the end of the class, you’ll have the tools and techniques to confidently edit and elevate your landscape photos using Adobe Photoshop.
Prerequisites: Basic familiarity with Photoshop is recommended but not required.
