Overview: The Basic Building Blocks of Editing Video

Editing video can be very scary when you first open the software. It is very different from editing photos, and you may not be sure how to begin the process. It can be very time-consuming and hard to learn, so we are here to show you the basics of how to edit your video.

Designed for video makers and content creators who want to tell or create videos and tell stories. This essential course sets you up with the foundations you’ll need to succeed. You’ll learn the basic skillset that every videographer uses to create amazing videos. Techniques like transitions, special effects, cuts and b-roll are just a couple of the subjects covered. You’ll also review numerous videos and learn to see video-A Whole New Way; you will be inspired to go capture the ideas that come to you and capture them in your own creative way.

We will be using Adobe Premiere Pro. Please make sure to have your own downloaded application so you can follow along and learn about all that adobe has to offer.

This class will feature a 2-hour lecture followed by 30 minutes of live Q&A with the instructor.
