About James:

James Dewhirst is a photographer and technology professional with over 20 years of experience as a freelance photographer. Rooted in a deep love for the craft, he holds an MFA in Photography from Brooks Institute and has built a career capturing compelling images while running his own photography business. Over the years he has also shared that passion in the classroom, teaching workshops and college courses that help photographers develop their own creative voice. That same eye for detail and storytelling found a natural partner in technology, where his creative and technical fluency work hand in hand to explore the tools and systems that power modern creative work.

About Brandon:

Brandon Burt has been a photographer / videographer for over 15 years. He started in photography with his mom's hand-me-down Fujifilm digital camera at 8 years old, and never put a camera down after that. He grew to graduate from Fresno State University with a B.A. in Media and Communications. He joined Team Sony in late 2023 and enjoys bringing knowledge and experiences to others. Most of his current work revolves around travel and wildlife photography. He also has a strong history with videography; starring in several class project short films, as well as writing and directing his own. Now, Brandon enjoys spending time with customers and retail associates, providing Sony product demos, classes, and workshop experiences.
