Story Telling Workshop

Follow us on Facebook to stay informed about workshops like this one and more!

This storytelling workshop is designed to help you tell stories in series of photographs. It’s easy to snap photos, but making images with depth and soul – and tying them together into a narrative is a true craft.

What You’ll Learn

In this two-session lecture and critique you’ll learn what makes a successful photograph through composition and technique, and how to use focal length, perspective and a pallet to make them work together and effectively tell the viewer a story.

Overview of Topics

  • Composition within an image

  • Storyboarding your story before the shoot

  • Shooting with the end goal in mind

  • Collaboration and getting the help of others

  • Critique & feedback of your final project

This workshop is limited to 15 people.

Homework

You will have 2 weeks in-between the class and critique to create & develop your own story project.
