Part 2: Shooting Workshop Session 1:

This Session will start at the South Platte Park and Carson Nature Center. You will have the opportunity to photograph wild birds along the South Platte River. There will be approximately 4 miles of walking along the river.  Scott will always be nearby to assist you with technical questions and provide hands-on instruction to ensure you execute best practices and capture the best shots possible.

We will also walk around the lake to photograph many other birds (approximately 2 miles of walking)

Customer Testimonials:

The actual photo shoot at Belmar was my favorite part of the workshop and more specifically shooting first thing at the Gazebo and at the end of the morning at the same spot.  It’s very helpful when you let us know what camera settings and composition are best for shooting the cormorants in flight, the snowy egret fishing and the merganser in and out of the water.

I rented a lens for the class and was really glad I did -having the 150-600 zoom really made a difference. I was really glad a came with a trash bag too—some of my best shots were from laying in the mud :-) Thanks for a great experience—I feel a lot more confident with my camera since the class.

I REALLY like having the small class size of 15 people - that was beneficial in the field and during the critique
