Discover The Dark Side Of Landscape Photography

Night photography can be tricky if you are forced to figure it out by yourself - so why not join a group of like minded "Dark Art Seekers" for a night under the stars to help take the agonizing guess work out and help you focus on taking your photography to the next level.

The first time you experience the star-studded sky, and see the Milky Way span across its vast dome; it is truly an awe-inspiring sight. Learn the art of capturing the Milky Way during new moon when the skies are at their darkest. This workshop will give you the building blocks for photographing the night sky, location planning and much more. We will focus on wide-field Astrophotography, which can best be described as landscape photography in the dark, with an emphasis on capturing brilliant Milky Way images using wide-angle lenses.

About your Instructor

I exchanged my $300 Beats By Dre headphones for an entry level DSLR. I found myself submerged in YouTube tutorials in order to develop my skills as a photographer. I quickly fell in love with long exposure and astrophotography - but also practiced all areas within photography. Photography changed my life and took me places I could have never imagined. I am very grateful for it and the relationships that I have made because of it. Today I focus on capturing the life within nature and highlighting the ever-changing seasons throughout the year. I am constantly challenging myself to learn new techniques and styles.
