Follow us on Facebook to stay informed about workshops like this one and more!

Don’t miss our beautiful Bay Area waterfalls in their most glorious splendor – and the opportunity to learn the craft of photographing moving water!

Description

This three-part workshop starts with an informative and inspiring lecture on making amazing images of flowing water. Then we’ll go out in Marin County to photograph. The workshop culminates with a group critique where you’ll share your best images and see what others in the group made.

What you’ll learn

How to create living room wall worthy milky fantasy-like water fall shots

How to use shutter speed in this environment

Pro techniques

Using apertures and filters for slow shutter speeds

What neutral density are for

Excursion

Ideally timed, the falls will be running at volumes that we haven’t seen in Northern California for more than six years! Begins and ends in Marin County to maximize our shooting time.

We’ll spend the better part of the mid-morning and early afternoon composing images that are worthy of your living room walls.

Learn with hands-on instruction how to expose and compose ideal waterfall perspectives, complete with that milky flowing water effect.

Please be advised that you’ll need to provide your own transportation.
