Take your floral photography to the next level with this lecture and hands-on workshop at Heather Farm. In this class you’ll learn the techniques needed to turn mediocre floral images into fabulous floral photographs! We’ll walk you through how to better use your camera, give you tips on composition and exposure, and you’ll go home with beautiful images of spring flowers from the day’s shoot.

- Isolating your subject using depth of field
- How to use contrasting colors to make better images
- Tips & techniques for strong interesting compositions
- How to create a soft glow with the use of backlighting
- Showing off the details with the use of flash

Max Class Size
Due to the hands-on nature of this workshop, class size is limited to 15 people.
Basic knowledge of aperture, shutter speed and iso settings.
Beginning - Intermediate
What to Bring
Bring your camera along with a fully charged batter and memory cards.
We recommend the following items if you have them:
- Telephoto zoom lens & or macro lens
- Spare battery
About Your Instructor
Reza is a skilled landscape, nature and nighttime photographer, from Iran with 35 years of experience. Using both film and digital technology he has been able to capture exotic locals and create powerful and thoughtful images. Reza owns and has operated three 35mm film cameras and now uses a Canon 5d MKIII. With his experience, flavored by his foreign perspective and vast knowledge of still imagery, he's able to produce breathtaking photographs and teach others how to do the same!
