Workshop includes an evening class at our Boulder store where you’ll learn the ins and outs of making great pictures in a country fair scenario.
At the Fair, dawning our exclusive press passes, we’ll gather for the demolition derby, photograph various attractions and fair-goers, then together we’ll shoot the Ferris Wheel during blue hour – all with guided hands-on instruction.
Last, we’ll get together again for a critique & in-store gallery opening.

About Your Instructors
Brian Rabin is a certified photographic consultant and The Industrial Sales Manager at Mike’s Camera in Boulder. Brian is a seasoned photographer and a lead instructor at Mike's Camera. He is well known for his enthusiasm and passionate instruction style and brings over 20 years of experience in various photographic disciplines including event photography, portraiture, macro and street photography. His work has appeared in one-man shows, group exhibits and has been published in national and local magazines.
Todd Tieman is passionate about making great pictures and telling stories through them. He started his career in Denver at Robert Waxman’s Camera and has worked as an expert technical trainer for several camera companies including Olympus, Canon, Sony & Samsung. He is now heading up education at Mike’s Camera and the editor of Mike’s Camera blog. Todd’s traveled the world over with cameras in-hand, and likes exotic food, culture, dogs and giving back to the world.
