Due to the overwhelming amount of amazing entries we have received the voting has taken longer than expected and the reception has been moved to a future date.

 

All images will be reviewed and winners will be notified after Wednesday September 19th. We will then host our Gallery reception and prize evening at our Colorado Springs location on Thursday September 27th from 6pm to 8pm.

Photo Contest Rules Members of the Denver Art Museum photography department will review all of the entries. Based on their expert knowledge of the genre and image caption, they will decide on the top 10 submissions and top photo submission.

 

 

1- Upload your photos to the contest site or www.gazette.com/laborday

2- Post your photo(s) to Instagram

3- Tag your photos with @mymikescamera and #LDLO2018

4- Follow @myMikesCamera on Instagram

5- Deadline for contest submission is September 9th, 2018

6- Winners will be notified on Instagram on September 12th, 2018

7- Winners MUST provide full resolution image prior to being awarded prizes. Mike’s Camera will print for you your image onto a Custom Giclée print from the MC Custom Lab. By submitting your photo(s) you implicitly agree to allow Mike's Camera, The Gazette, and The Sports Corp. use of your photos for marketing purposes.

Whether you’re thinking of changing your camera or have your eye on a lens you’ve been hoping to try out, our Demo Days provide unique opportunities to try out all sorts of gear and capture some spectacular photographs. Best of all, all demo loaner rentals are FREE to test drive, fun for the entire family to participate.

Bring your SD Card so that you can take home all of the amazing photos that you will capture.

 

 

The Fine Print

A valid Credit Card & Driver’s License is required to checkout gear and will be kept on file until return of equipment. Test Drive Loaner gear is FREE. Restrictions apply.

 

The photos you take with the loaned equipment are yours to keep! Bring your own SD card (CF for some flagship Nikon models) to use in the cameras to store your files. If you forget to bring a memory card, we will have some available for sale at the event.

 

 

Registration

Registration is not necessary, and all gear is provided on a first come, first served basis. Get there early for best selection.

  • All gear must be returned by 10:00PM on Saturday or Sunday
  • No later than 10:00AM on Monday at the park.
