Wildlife Photography at the Denver Zoo

Presented By Mike's Camera

Follow us on Facebook to stay informed about workshops like this one and more!

Join Mike's Camera and Denver Zoo for a wild photography workshop. You’ll get class instruction followed by an early morning private, up-close animal experience and a guided walking tour at the Denver Zoo where you’ll get hands-on photography instruction long before the doors opens to the public. Then you’ll be able to share the images you shot at the zoo with the group during a follow up image critique.

Your evening pre-safari class will consist of tips and tricks for improving your composition, instruction on exposure, exposure value, and controlling depth of field for achieving stunning wildlife images.

Then on Sunday, you’ll get a private walking tour at the Denver Zoo with an assigned Docent from the zoo, and enjoy two custom tailored special animal experiences where you’ll enjoy exclusive private photo sessions with various animals from the zoo’s Wildlife Show followed by a private tour of Tropical Discovery, where photographers can photograph a variety of fresh-water and marine fish, and exotic turtles that can be seen swimming in the 2,250-gallon cerulean blue pool, followed by another up-close animal feeding.

In addition to our private guided tour of the zoo, your instructors from Mikes Camera will be on hand to answer any technical questions and provide you hands-on assistance and instruction to ensure you tricks to capture sensational images.
