A hands-on Elements workshop- Introductory Level

What you’ll Learn

This three-session workshop is designed for the digital photographer who wishes to delve into the world of photo editing using the affordable and user friendly Adobe Photoshop Elements software. You’ll learn efficient ways to edit, enhance, and maximize your photographs to their full potential; get creative with your photos using text or borders, or use the adjustment and retouching tools to turn good photos you already have into stunning photographs.

Overview of Topics

Creating collages and adding text, and more!

Creating gorgeous black and white images and partial color effects

Using adjustment layers and why they are useful

Understanding layers: Photoshop’s most powerful feature

Resizing your image for poster sized prints

Getting started in Photoshop Elements and basic editing functions: Cropping, color correction, red-eye and blemish removal, and sharpening

Because of the hands-on nature of this workshop and the complexities of learning software, this workshop is limited to 12 people.

Prerequisites

Your own laptop computer, with Photoshop Elements software pre-loaded. We will be instructing using Adobe Photoshop Elements 10, the most current version of the software, however, be aware that you may encounter slight differences within the user interface and certain functions.

Your instructor

Ryan Lambrecht is a Colorado based interior, architecture, and portrait photographer. Ryan uses the latest technology to deliver high quality composite digital images. Ryan also works as a digital imaging specialist for Mike’s Camera at the Boulder location. Ryan uses his Photoshop skills and techniques to work with his customers to achieve beautiful digital images.
