Take a walk amongst the giant redwoods and learn to create gorgeous images from what you see along the way - from the smallest fern to the tallest tree! Muir Woods will provide you with a number of photographic opportunities along your walk including various plant life, wildlife and landscapes!
What you’ll Learn
Your instructor, Mary Richardson of our Mill Valley location, will teach you tips and techniques on the following topics during your walk:
Perspective- finding the right vantage point for extraordinary photos
Creating a unique eye-catching composition
Principles of light
How to use existing light to your advantage- create light beams, texture, and more!

Tuition includes instruction and one on one attention during your walk, plus a $10 coupon you can use towards anything in-store at any Mike's Camera location!
The $7 Admission to the park is not included in tuition. Parking is free but fills up fast on the weekends.
Max Class Size
Due to the hands-on nature of this workshop, class size is limited to 10 people.
What to Bring
Bring your camera along with a fully charged battery and memory cards. We suggest wearing comfortable shoes, and a light jacket or sweatshirt. We also suggest bringing the below items if you have them.
